While I specialize in the focus required for reactive, anxious, or nervous dogs (like German Shepherds, Rottweilers, and Pitbull's), I bring that same detail-oriented care to all. From high-energy Labs and Retrievers to the big personalities of Boston Terriers and Pugs, and farm residents like goats and chickens, Nadiya's approach fits to the individual!
A grounded, steady presence is key. Nadiya's time in the saddle has been her greatest teacher, instilling the patience and "quiet" communication required to settle animals of all temperaments, from high-strung rescues to senior "old souls."
Working with rescues and local shelters has given Nadiya the tools to navigate a plethora of behavioral temperaments and emotional needs. She understands the patience required to help those with a difficult past feel safe, respected, and understood.

Client service Policies & Procedures
At Petcare by Nadiya, we feel most comfortable when all parties know and understand how my policies work. Petcare by Nadiya, understands that sometimes unexpected events occur. To be effective and fair to all clients and out of consideration for everyone's time, we have adopted the following policies:
Please note: This list highlights 10 of our core standards, but is not exhaustive. Client Agreements in their entirety are available for review and signature within the Time To Pet portal upon booking.
Meet & Greets
Petcare by Nadiya requires a free, complimentary 30-minute meet and greet with you and your pets before any booking is confirmed. This is to review preliminary care instructions, work on gaining your pet’s trust, and ensure we are a good fit for each other!
Any subsequent requested meetings (e.g., to meet a new pet or review new home instructions) will be charged at the standard 30-minute drop-in rate.
No booking is considered to be “confirmed” until booked and payment is rendered. No dates will be held without a deposit.
The meet and greet will take place in a neutral area (outside of your home) to meet you and your pets. We will go over their routine, preferences, medications and additional care, as well as house management (if applicable). If you would like to move forward with me, I require keys and paperwork at this time. This may also include going for a walk with your dog together! (Fish do not fall under this requirement, If you are a hobby farm or cannot transport your pet, this also does not apply.)
Proof of vaccinations (see bullet #3, Vaccination Policy below) must be emailed no later than 24 hours prior to the Meet & Greet to [email protected]
Important Notes:
If vaccination records are not received prior, your appointment will be delayed until Petcare by Nadiya receives it.
If additional pets are added to a household, we require an additional “Meet and Greet” before we will take care of this pet. We also require a Veterinary Release Form as well for this new pet. (Fish do not apply to this policy.)
Petcare Profile Form
Petcare by Nadiya requires all pet owners booking services with me to submit their 'Petcare Profile Form' after the Meet & Greet. All the information collected on this form is for safety and insurance purposes.
If anything were to happen to your pet during my care, what you write will help me make sure s/he gets the best care possible.
Vaccinations
For the safety of my clients, their pets, and myself, all mammalian pets are required to be up to date on core vaccinations appropriate for their species and lifestyle.
Dogs: Proof of rabies and DHPP vaccines or Titer Tests required.
Cats: Must be current on Rabies and FVRCP.
Important Note:
Proof of vaccination may be requested prior to the start of services and must remain current throughout the duration of care.
Petcare by Nadiya understands that some pets may be unable to receive certain vaccines due to age or medical conditions. Medical exemptions must be provided in writing by a licensed veterinarian and will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis.
Petcare by Nadiya reserves the right to decline or suspend services if vaccination requirements are not met, in order to maintain a safe and healthy environment for everyone.
Booking & Payments
I’m proud to offer specialized, certified care at a local rate that works for your budget.
Reservations: To lock in your dates, a non-refundable 50% deposit is required.
Final Balance: The remaining total is due 24 hours before your service starts.
How to Pay: I currently accept payment via Time to Pet (Credit/Debit Card or ACH/e-check), Check, or Cash.
Late Payments: A $1 per day late fee applies to any balance left after the due date.
Cancellation Policy & Fees
Recurring Mid-Day Walks & Drop-Ins: Please give at least 24 hours’ notice. Visits cancelled with less than 24 hours’ notice are charged in full.
Holidays, Pet Sitting, Overnights, Weddings & Custom Care Add-Ons: These require 5 days’ notice. If cancelled with less than 5 days’ notice, the 50% deposit is kept and the remaining balance is due.
Credits: I do not offer cash refunds. Instead, a credit for future care will be added to your account (valid for 180 days).
Home Access, Privacy, and Security
Entry: I require one physical key (or a secure on-site lockbox) as a backup, even if you have a keypad or garage code in case of emergencies.
Privacy: Your home is your sanctuary. While security cameras are fine in common areas, there must be total privacy (no cameras) in restrooms and any area where I’ll be sleeping during overnights.
One-on-One Care: To keep everyone safe, I do not "job share" with neighbors or other sitters while I’m looking after your home and pets.
Pet Safety
Leash Policy: Every dog is walked on a sturdy leash and collar/harness. For safety, I do not do off-leash walks in unfenced areas.
Stocking Up: Please have enough food, meds, and cleaning supplies ready for the trip. If I need to run out for more, a $30 errand fee plus the cost of the items will be added.
Weather Plan: Please provide a local Emergency Guardian who can step in if the roads are unsafe to travel during a storm.
Confidentiality & Trust
Petcare by Nadiya takes the safety of client’s pets and security of their home very seriously. Petcare by Nadiya does not advertise on vehicles and tries to be as discreet as possible.
Petcare by Nadiya will not let anyone know you are away or disclose any client information to a 3rd party.
Pet Photos: Petcare by Nadiya retains ownership of all pictures and videos taken during services. These may be used for website, social media, and marketing purposes. All personal identifying information (tags, house home addresses, last names, etc.) will be removed to maintain your privacy.
Pet ID and Vaccination Requirements
According to state law, all dogs must have proof of a current dog license. Dogs must have proof of identification on their collar.
All pets are required to be current on their vaccines. Those who have a waiver will be taken on a case by case basis.
Getting Started
Clients must sign and return the Service Agreement, Veterinary Treatment form & Key Retention form to Petcare by Nadiya no less than 24 hours prior to the start of service. Please email them to [email protected]
Clients must fill out all applicable fields in the client portal. This provides me with all the necessary information, so Petcare by Nadiya can give your pet(s) the best care possible.
Certified Professional Care: As a Fear Free, CPR, and First Aid Certified professional with over 10 years of experience, these policies are in place to provide the highest level of safety and reliability for your pets.

The "Daily Routine" (Dog & Cat Walking):
Maintaining consistency is key to an animal’s peace of mind. I provide structured walks or in-home sessions tailored to your pet's energy levels. For reactive dogs, these sessions focus on safe, low-stress routes that respect their personal space and "internal logic."

The "Guardian" Stay (House Sitting & Overnights):
For pets who thrive best in their own environment, I offer dedicated overnight care in your home. This service includes evening and morning routines, mail collection, and light home "safety checks." Both your animals and your property are in a professional’s hands while you are away.
The "Golden Hour" (Drop-In Visits):
Perfect for mid-day breaks, medication administration, or senior pets. These visits focus on the essentials: potty breaks, fresh water, feeding, and focused companionship. During every visit, I monitor for any subtle shifts in mood or health.

The "Home-Away-From-Home" Boarding Coming July!!:
I host a maximum of three pets at a time to keep the environment calm and focused. Your dog has full roam of my home as a member of the family - no confinement to a single room. I prioritize behavioral continuity, maintaining the training and cues you use at home. A post-visit debrief covering their health, mood, and habits is included!

The "Solo Specialist" (Personalized 1:1 Boarding) Coming July!!:
Designed for pets that are reactive, anxious, nervous, have medical needs, or simply require undivided attention. Your pet is the only guest in my home with full roam of the house. This fosters a truly calming space, customized to their personality and triggers. A detailed post-visit debrief is included!

"Productive Playday" (Daycare) Coming July!!:
A low-stress alternative to high-traffic daycares. Pets have full roam of my home and enjoy a supervised balance of play, rest, mental enrichment, and activity. This prevents over-stimulation and helps maintain their "settle" skills. Includes a post-day debrief. Inquire for 1:1 Doggie daycare Special Requests!

"Logic & Lead" (Training & Play):
I offer both virtual and in-person sessions focusing on basic manners, trick-training, and cognitive enrichment. Using a "calm, assertive" energy, I help you and your pet communicate more effectively. For clients with larger properties, acreage, or access to local neighborhood trails, I provide high-energy exploration right from your front door. We skip the boring sidewalk and head for the "edges"—wood lines, fields, or trail-heads—to allow for physical decompression and mental stimulation. This is a chance for your pet to reconnect with their natural instincts in a quiet, low-stress environment.

For pets that struggle with "home alone" anxiety or when the car pulls away. I provide a dedicated window of in-home companionship while you are out for the evening. The "Anchor" Session (Social & Environmental Literacy):
For dogs that find the world unpredictable, I act as their "anchor." Using your own neighborhood as a training ground, I focus on helping reactive or nervous dogs navigate "real world" triggers—like passing cars, barking neighbor dogs, or delivery trucks—from a distance where they feel safe. This builds their "logic" and confidence in the environment they live in every day.
Routine Maintenance (Structured Skill-Building):
Don't let your hard work at training fade while you're at work. These walks and stays are designed to strictly follow your existing training protocols. I provide the "professional structure" needed to reinforce good habits like focus, patience, and leash manners, ensuring your pet stays on track even when you aren't there.
The "Pasture & Pen" Reset (Outdoor Maintenance):
Built for the hobby farm and multi-pet household. I handle the physical upkeep of the animals' living spaces: yard waste removal, refreshing nesting boxes, and handling farm feedings. I focus on the "ecology" of their environment so they have a clean, healthy space to thrive.
The "Garden Wander" (Senior Specialist):
A slow-paced, sensory-focused visit for "old souls." We spend the time at their pace in your backyard or garden, focusing on gentle movement, fresh air, and a "wellness check" on their mobility and comfort. This is a low-impact way to ensure your senior pet feels pampered and monitored.
The "New Chapter" Consultation:
Just brought home a rescue or a new farm animal? I’ll spend an hour with you evaluating their body language in the new space, helping you set up their "safe zones," and creating a routine that prevents stress before it starts. It’s the best way to start your journey together on the right foot.

The Vibe: Total 'White Glove' service. You don't have to worry about your pet for the entire wedding day.Details Offered:

'Sole Specialist': You get me, and only me. Your pet is my 100% priority for the full day, with complete, undivided attention.
Wedding Night Sleepover: I stay overnight with your pet at your home (or at mine) to maintain their exact routine.
Senior & Medical Care: Professional administration of any meds and extra TLC for "Old Souls" who need a slower pace during the big day.
Morning-After: Full care until you are ready to reunite with your best friend the next day.
